PRICE:  Sold 1/2 interest to Black Forest Alpacas, Gregg and Sandy Smith.  Congratulations on purchase of 1/2 interest in this stunning male!

We expected a fantastic cria from Cocoa Puffe and Tuscan, and we got it.  He is incredible.  Half brother to our other multi champion herdsire, El Corazon`, Prosecco boasts a very bright dark fawn fleece with black points - a promise of the color to come from this little guy.  His fleece shines like a new penny.  He has a beautiful head, perfect bite, total coverage clear down to his toes and very uniform, crimpy fleece.  This fleece has earned ribbons for Prosecco in the 2 large level V shows he has been in so far in 2009, in spite of being the youngest in his class at both shows.  At the Futurity, he placed 5th in his class, and at 2009 GWAS he placed 1st in his class of 9.  He is conformationally correct with straight legs, level top line, good bone already evident at his age, and a sweet, quiet personaltiy.  He is so fabulous we will retain half interest in this male.

PRICE:  SOLD TO CHIMERA RANCH ALAPCAS, Norm and Sandy Johnson.  Congratulations on the purchase of this very nice male with bright, fine fleece!

This little dude is totally covered in fleece with such a cute face!  He is the product of a true black import female and our multichampion sire, Tuscan Gold.  Tuscanator has excellent fleece length, uniformity of crimp character and fineness throughout his very, very bright fleece, gift from daddy Tuscan.  This fleece also posesses density with a very nice handle to it.  Tuscanator has nice straight legs, a good bite, and is a compact little fella, making him teddy bear cute.  He has been in the ribbons at the shows, being one of the youngest in his classes.  His sire, Tuscan, has 2 black female crias on the ground, so with Tuscantor's dam being a true black, the possibility for dark color production are in his genes.  He is a  young male who is destined for a bright future.

Luna is an eye appealing, good sized cria with strong bone and nice proportions.  She has straight legs, a good bite, and total body coverage.  Her fleece is very fine, bright white, uniformly crimped and bundled with excellent staple length.  Dam Susquehanna has a reputation for producing very nice crias, and sire Tuscan Gold has exhibited his strong herd sire genetics with his first cria crop last fall, stamping his crias with excellent conformation, great heads, fabulous, shiny bright fleece, and his great presence.  Luna has done very well in the show ring already, in spite of being one of the youngest in her classes.  She will add density, staple length, brightness and fineness to our breeding program.  See her fiber stats below - very impressive!  Her dam has been a great producer with abundant milk production to support her crias and strong mothering instincts.  Her full sister, medium fawn SA Tuscan's Stellina, is available in the 2010 AOBA auction.

PRICE:  SOLD TO MARY BELL AT 2009 GEMS AND GENETICS AUCTION.  CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PURCHASE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL FEMALE!

What a little knockout this girl is! And she knows it, too. Attitude and spunk, she epitomizes her namesake.  She possesses extremely bright, white fleece organized into crimpy bundles consistent everywhere. That brightness and consistency of fleece are trademarks passed from daddy Tuscan Gold as we had hoped he would do.  We are seeing it in all of his crias in his first crop.  Mom Darcy has very long staple length, which we already see has passed to Diva.  Darcy's fleece has earned a 1st place out of 12 at the 2008 Fall Festival with some stiff competition, 3rd place at the 2009 GWAS, and 2nd place out of 9 at the 2009 AOBA World Fleece Show, sandwiched between CasCadNac and Snowmass.  Darcy's fleece has earned a ribbon at every show we have entered it in.  Diva has total body fiber coverage, a character passed from both parents.  We can't wait to get this little girl to the show ring as she has that extra show-girl presence about her.  She will be a superb addition to any breeding program looking for a quality female with elite fleece. She will come with a future breeding to any Bella Vita herdsire, including multiple color champion El Corazon`, who we bred her dam Darcy to for a fall 2009 cria.

DOB:  10/9/08
Color/Status:  Lt. fawn, full Peruvian, 5/8 Accoyo
ARI:  3157792
PRICE:  $15,000 - sale pending

Another striking Tuscan Gold cria and named after that sweet, light, bubbly Italian champagne, Asti has presence and style wtih upright carriage, level topline, and balanced proportions. Her fleece is buttery soft, bright, crimpy and consistent in style throughout. She possesses the same total coverage as her sire and dam, and she already has the formation of a spectacular head, just like her sire, with generous topknot. Her dam has a calm, even temperament and is easy to work with. Asti is her firt cria, and she had an uneventful delivery and has been a very attentive mom with good milk to support her cria, traits that should pass to Asti.

Asti's dam, Averanda, is a SA Peruvian Avenger (Royal Fawn) daughter out of Polar Princess, a Peruvian import who also resides at Bella Vita. Avenger sold at auction for over $400,000 and has sired many show winning alpacas. With all Asti has in her presence, conformation, style and fleece characteristics, she is a defintie future show girl who should do very well.

SOLD TO JUDY AND PAUL SHETLER.  CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PURCHASE OF THIS STUNNING MALE!

He is so very cute! The densest of the Tuscan crias this season, he has bright, high frequency crimpy fleece, uniform all over. Great total body coverage and a very nice head, Trifecta is a definite show quality junior herdsire. And he has that unmistakable presence possessed by his sire, sure to draw the judges' eyes. Good bone, a flat topline, well porportioned in addition to his fabulous fleece, this male will add stellar genetics to any herd. The tricoloring of white, light and medium fawn on Trifecta's head and upper neck is an attention grabber and make him eye candy, but the rest of his body fleece is consistent light fawn. Much is made of the Suri "beard", but I have to say that these Tuscan crias have a very similar "Huacaya beard" with the full coverage we are seeing on their faces.
